Mobile Data Collection and Management Systems
Integrated mobile phone-based Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) and Vulnerability Analysis and Mapping (VAM) data collection system, linking information collected with a geographic interface and providing real-time alerts to programme managers to ensure rapid responses to programmatic issues. This has the capacity to improve WFP’s programme implementation as well as their response times immeasurably.

Automated Complaint Mechanism System
An automated complaint mechanism system, allowing beneficiaries avenues by which to confidentially report issues of in WFP programming, whether it be related to serious problems (diversions, theft, etc) or more minor issues (such as mistakes in ration sizes or targeting criteria). The tool allows beneficiaries to listen and record messages in their own language and dialect or answer questions with a phone keypad. The system would allow real-time alerting of WFP management (via phone calls, SMS or emails) to significant problems requiring immediate resolution.
